Oracle Audit vault is future of Oracle database security
Oracle Audit vaultIn this month, we have seen two security incident on Oracle database level where fraudulent DBAs sold or altered protected data in database. Most of the time, transaction log or audit trail stored the action performed by the DBA but unfortunately, in almost all organization, DBAs are having system or sys password which can erase the transaction log or audit trail.
oracle audit vault is a new product from oracle which collects log from various databases and store it in centralize repository. It allows auditor to perform search rule to find suspicious activities and it support oracle database warehouse technology for archival purpose.
